Project Description

Set upon a wide, tree lined street within the historical Hotham Hill district in North Melbourne, Hotham Hill is a collection of ten residences over three levels. Street access to the building lobby is via a discrete side entry located to the east of the building and preserves the main frontage for separate street level entry to the 2‐ground floor north facing apartments. This strategy replicates theypical arrangement enjoyed by much of the existing housing stock in Curran Street.

Natural ventliation and connection to the verdant outlook are priortised, with open air landscaped circulation splitting the building into two, dual or triple aspect to all apartments and 70% of living areas and balconies face north.
