Following completion, the Coles tenancy in this building remained the most energy efficient supermarket in Australia for over seven years. Built for a private developer and configured with very simple architectural forms and a very cost effective yet thermally efficient skin the building manages to sit comfortably in its historic context.
The centre has received Victorian sustainable architecture awards and national Property Council awards in acknowledgement of its design excellence and enduring investment quality.
