  • Project: Arden Urban Renewal Precinct

  • Location: Melbourne, Victoria, Australia

  • Client: Metropolitan Planning Authority/ Victorian Planning Authority

Project Description

The project explores the establishment of the Arden precinct including government owned land (the AGL site) and its potential role and significance in relation to the proposed Melbourne Metro Rail Project station.

MGS Architects assisted the Victorian Planning Authority to develop a strategic vision, framework plan and feasibility study that integrated the government owned land and the proposed rail project and undertake a testing and analysis to undertake a level of feasibility to underpin the business case for the project. It will continue to inform the strategic decision-making process for the Melbourne Metro Project, providing guidance about potential opportunities for the government owned land and its integration with the surrounding area.
